David Holzman has been representing injured workers in the Santa Barbara area for over 30 years.
After graduating from UCSB, Mr. Holzman attended Hastings College of the Law (now known as UC San Francisco College of the Law.) After obtaining his JD and passing the California Bar, Mr. Holzman practiced law for several years in a small Personal Injury law practice in Long Beach, CA.
Looking for a change and some adventure, Mr. Holzman with his wife (who he met at UCSB) moved to Barcelona, Spain where he taught English to Catalan attorneys and corporate executives for a year.
Upon returning to the United States, Mr. Holzman began his career as an attorney for the workers’ compensation law firm “Hourigan, Finestone, and Shumaker” in Santa Barbara. This firm became “Hourigan, Holzman & Sprague” and is now “Stout, Kaufman, Holzman & Sprague.” Mr. Holzman is committed to skillfully, aggressively and honestly representing each of his clients. With the experience Mr. Holzman has gained in his 33 years of practice in the field of workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability law he has the knowledge necessary to help his clients navigate all aspects of California's very complex workers’ compensation system.
